About PetGadgets

Real reviews from a real
pet owner who tests everything.

No sponsored content. No guesswork. Just honest takes on the smart pet products actually worth your money — and the ones that aren’t.

Hi, I’m the person behind PetGadgets.

I’m a tech enthusiast and lifelong pet owner based in Europe, currently sharing my home with a dog who treats every walk like a mission briefing, and a cat who has strong opinions about which gadgets belong on the floor.

I started PetGadgets because I kept finding the same problem: most pet product reviews online are either vague five-star Amazon summaries or thinly-disguised ads. When I was trying to decide between GPS trackers, automatic feeders, or grooming tools, I wanted someone to actually stress-test them — not just describe the box they came in.

So I built the site I wished existed.

Meet the test subjects.

🐕
The Dog

High-energy, escape-minded, and personally responsible for stress-testing every GPS tracker, leash, and automatic toy on this site. Does not understand the concept of “indoors.”

🐈
The Cat

Opinionated product tester for feeders, laser toys, and grooming tools. Has definitively rejected three automatic feeders, two self-cleaning litter boxes, and one smart water fountain.

Every product reviewed on PetGadgets goes through real household use — not a 30-minute unboxing session, but days of actual testing with animals that have no patience for products that don’t work.

What you can expect on this site

  • Honest reviews that include the flaws, not just the features
  • Real performance data — battery life, GPS accuracy, noise levels, durability
  • Clear verdicts: worth it, skip it, or only if you have a specific situation
  • No paid placements — products are selected based on search volume and relevance, not advertiser relationships
  • Affiliate links that cost you nothing extra, and help keep the site running

Why smart pet products?

The pet tech space has exploded in the last few years — GPS trackers, automatic feeders, robot toys, air purifiers, health monitors. Most of it is genuinely useful. Some of it is overpriced nonsense. A small amount of it is remarkable.

My goal is to be the person who’s already bought the thing, run it through its paces, and can tell you honestly: yes, this solves a real problem — or no, save your money and take an extra walk instead.

Affiliate disclosure

PetGadgets participates in the Amazon Associates Program and other affiliate programs. When you click a product link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This never influences which products we review or what we say about them — we only link to products we’d actually recommend.

Thanks for being here. If you have a product you’d like me to test, or a question about a review, you’re welcome to reach out via the contact form.

Now go enjoy some time with your pet.
